i love constantly evolving into a cooler version of myself
btw by cooler i don’t mean like. trendier or more conventionally attractive but a version of myself that feels more like an honest representation of myself and all the layers of myself that are shifting as i grow and learn more about myself and the world …. (which makes me hotter.)
One of the most dangerous things in the world is not being able to say no to people because you don’t want to upset them or dissapoint them. This will completely ruin your life in every way possible, at work, in your private life, your sex life and your friendships. It’s a way of removing your own consent in your own decisions and go against your wishes, it is always a crime against yourself. Let yourself have a say. Upsetting people is better than traumatizing yourself.
if I could go back and tell myself one thing in life it would be this. looking back at all the things I did and let happen to me just to keep the peace is a form of grief. i mourn the woman i could have become
